feels like we're playing chicken with the algos, doesn't it? Like the game will stop at some point but the rally is so powerful it's hard to step away.
But everyone knows when the music stops it will be an ugly day.
Meanwhile, markets are barely higher now than they were in 2017. Have to wonder if the bull is exhausted and now we just meander for a few years. I'm thinking about finally buying some long term bonds...just get some income rolling in vs a dog-paddling stock market. Or short term high yield.
Barely higher? The Dow was at about 19,800 in 2017 and is now close to 26,000. That is quite a big upswing.
