Whetting needs to stop tweeting about being great and just do what it takes to make it happen. Some many of my generation can talk/tweet a good game but lack the inner toughness to make it happen.

Mark always struck me as a runner who got the best out of his own level of talent (not the most talented MD runner in the UK in the 80s, but has an olympic medal); so i would expect him to be able to work out the way to get the best out of his athletes.
.......but hey, salazar couldn't beat my granny in a sprint but can coach anyone in his group to finish like Vaatainan, so maybe what you can do for yourself and what you can coach others to do aren't linked.
And Henry Rono is on hold.

wheating is strong mentally. really strong.
but when he's physically not there, he tries to psych himself into thinking somehow he can go from being in 336 shape and run 330. it ain't going to happen. that is where wheating is a head case.
wheating needs to be realistic and hope for miracles. when he's in good shape, he naturally knows what to do.
and when he's not in shape, he has no idea what to do,.
wheating only has to worry about getting into shape, and that means staying injury free, which means doing the right things with new coach and he'll simply have to not think too much and just wait for the grace of god to allow him to run the way he can.
previous post should say wheating should not wait for miracles...
