So the only possible positive outcome is to win the race? In your opinion, Manzano's kick did not serve him well in the 1500 either?

You must love watching 12 minute 3200 meter high school races then.
I was making use of irony xDI think that this race was awful. Ok it was really hot but anything is justification for a 15 min 5k,even in championships.Good mile race.

I don't understand why we have to trash other athletes when someone has a great race. Lagat's age shouldn't even matter, he's a tremendous athlete.
5 more meters and Hill would have passed Rupp.
Goes without saying that neither Hill nor Lagat ran the 10K.

Did he win last summer?
Yeah, it served him fine. Rupp didn't win last summer either.
He won a silver medal
Lagat won the 2012 PRE Coulda Shoulda Woulda award
Ah, and Rupp doesn't do well in the heat. And, he has asthma. And, he has was tired. And, he has thyroid issues. And, there was evil pollen in the air. And, he didn't get a good night's rest. And, someone bumped him during the race. And, his shoelace wasn't tied perfectly right. And, someone made noise last night and woke him. And, he...etc.The list of fanboy Rupp-x-cuses is absolutely endless.

Well, if Rupp had a pass A sample postive for drugs the letsrun poster would be all over that!...but Lagat always get a pass!..even at 37!....give me break!

The only one of those things on that entire list of yours that anyone has mentioned, is the 10k. Which seems worth mentioning!
The only one whining here is you.

Wasn't the 10k slow too? Was it even Rupp's tempo pace?
I had to get on the road after the steeple so I didn't see this race, but it sounds like Lagat learned his lesson from last year and held his kick to the last 100m, as he said at the time that he would do in future.
What's the record between them now? Like 17-1? I'm asking honestly.
he don make any mistakes with drug tests anymore
like gettin busted for the a sample
or maybe he clean now and stopped takin that bad shit

Rupp has far, far, more haters than fans on this site. And the haters are far, far more obnoxious. So enough with the persecution complex. Also, stop using the word "fanboy." You sound like a godd*** idiot 13 year old f*ckface.
It looked to me like Lagat cut Rupp off down the homestretch. Anyone else notice this or was it just the angle of the camera?

Lagat just ran smart and didn't let Rupp pass on the inside like last year.
