What a load of crap, I am so sick of hearing about this.
The NY Times, which leans notoriously left of center, canned two stories that basically said to lay off Tiger. Both stories were written by respected writers, one of them, Dave Anderson being a Puliter Prize winning journalist. The jist of the stories said, Tiger has nothing to do with this, back off of him, and that this is 1 private club's rules? The editors said that these stories ran counter to their editorial policy(calling for Tiger to ban the Masters because of the sexist policy) and prior stories written about the situation, thus wouldn't run them.
It's nice to see that editoral policy determines what get's published. Is this even a legitimate newspaper?
It is the most read paper in America, which is why so many people are upset about it. Look for Foxnews to break a story reguarding this. NBC, CBS, and ABC will not; they take their cues from the NY times. If you ever want to now what is going to be on the evening news, get a morning copy of the Times.
Even liberal columnist have spoke out with reguards to the NY times reporting and editorial standards. The only thing I could compare this to some Commy newspaper in the former Soviet Union. If you don't agree with the left wing establishment of the paper, you won't be heard.
Is this all the women's lib people have left? If they wanted to tackle something important, why don't they talk about the subordination and mistreatment of women in the Muslim world? Oh, that would run counter to the editorial policy of their establishment of not saying anything critical about Muslims because if we do, we are implying they are all terrorist and we must be bigoted and racist.
I say they should let some of these femi-nazis in, let them get about 50 yards off the first tee, and then have a couple of 4 somes break out the drivers on them. Ha Ha (joking)
