her indoor season indicated cain was capable of
~ 4'03
in a perfect race outdoors which is incredible for a non-chinese/african 16y ole !!!
she may be down to even 4'02 by now !
she actually has very good speed ( iirc it came out as 2-flat outdoor speed on lines of fit )
she'd be better off in a slow race with her kick contending her
but, if it goes out fast, she can go low as 4'03
Friday, as far as I can tell.
If it's Cain FTW does the purse slot down to #'s 2/3/4? Pretty nice pay check for finishing as low as 4th in this race then.
Coburn is in shape and hot. Training w Jenny.
How about 1-2 for the Wetmore girls
she'd be better off in a slow race with her kick____________
Do not think slow is better for MC in this race. Cain has got to hit her splits and go for time, not place. Sit and kick should not be priority at Drake.
Wind may be a factor in Des Moines. Cain runs well in wind. Small upper body.

That would be awesome. And Emma is hot!

Control yourself, good sir.
And get the predictions in, clock is ticking!
Why isn't Sheila Reid mentioned here? My money's on her!
Any one have link to watch Drake online? thanks
ESPN3 online.
10 minutes! as soon as this thrilling ladies 4x8 gets out of the way...
Going with Jenny. Last time with Wetmore she was fast right out of the box. Wouldn't surprise me if Mary was #2.
4:03 in wind. Not bad!
Looks like Jenny has her form back already.
And somewhere, Coach Wetmore is smiling.
Wow, she was out to prove something. Nice run, Jenny.

I'm going with jenny b among the americans - new coach, new outlook, embarassed after her 2012 - I think she will come out fighting.

Cain looked like she was struggling, yet still broke her HSR. Rowbury recovered nicely from her previous races and Kate Grace continues to run well. Simpson just looked like a different runner from last year. This year will be great for the women's 1500.
Let's be fair to Mary. National HSR. She's ahead of EVERYBODY in D1. To expect her to come out an beat the DEFENDING WORLD CHAMPION is a bit much. Good race for Mary, but a better one for JBS.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
