After two weeks in "seed" shoe from shop where I work part-time, I can say the Premier Lite runs even better than Nike's Skylon. Good transition roll, flexibility, and firmish, responsive cushioning (not squishy-slow). Out in Feb, I believe.

I heard that Reebok has made Hansons a 5year 3million dollar proposal. Is this true or just another Reebok hoax? If it is true it would make the Hansons just another corporate whore.
Curious on the Hanson's-Reebok rumor: any word on street or mouth or paper?
I know that Reebok is serious from national sales meetings but I haven't heard any details or what the Hansons take on it is.
Brilliant! Hanson's had shopped the team around a little, looking for some corporate shoe company help, and they were only asking for $60k per year in cash plus product. As far as I know, no company had made a move on that deal.
Reebok, if this is true (and I doubt it), wants to throw $600k per year at them, genius...
This is a bit unrelated, but Reebok has a new Ad campaign coming up. So who is their new spokesman you ask?
Homer Simpson!

I believe that Jeff Campbell will be playing the part of Homer. Boy those Hansons really know how to market.
Why would Reebok pay out those kind of bucks? Hansons don't even carry their product.
There is no truth to this rumor. No monetary or sponsorship deal of any kind has been offered by reebok to the Hanson grp.

So are you really a Reebok rep. I haven't seen one Sincer Len Sitko left. All my calls to national people do not get returned. Any help.
In terms of Reebok "tech reps," they really have none, using "sales reps" instead. Tere is a sharp tech-type rep in the northern California area, Kevin Crushshank (?), who helps Venue and the Aggies: truly a first-rate guy.
Their "Premier" line will be solid. Simple back-to-basics at a low price point. Ran 23 today in the "Lite". No probs. They will introduce a "Shear Plate" technology in the fall that sounds uniquely promising: cuts the sideways slide when the foot lands (slo-mo film geek stuff) and saves some shock upon impact. Definitely NOT the DMX-type recycled gimmick that they actually had in their WALKING shoes in the late 80's when we tested for them.
Will be tough getting foot in store doors, but if long-term committment is there (who knows?), the product will add to the mix.
Thanks for disabusing us of the Hanson's rumor. Did seem like a high tag.
Weldon,
Forgettabout the Hanson's, Reebok should give you the six mil and get worldwide web publicity from your site! The LetsRun singlet would be the biggest thing since their secretarial aerobic shoes.
DBELCO, where do you work? I'm a player and want to know where the best action is. E-mail me. don't forget to delete the freakin caps!
Instead of everyone talking in circles, I suggest you ask Steve Ave if their is any truth to the rumor. I heard that it is past the rumor stage.

The word on the street is that the premier line is very good. The future premier models will be even more innovative as Van can attest.
