Does anyone have any experience with this shoe? I've heard mixed reviews, and want to know more about the shoe before buying it

Rupp seems to like it.
I think there is a video somewhere about Rupp helping with the design...
yeah i saw that, i'm looking for some other people's feedback too
Much softer that the Structure 15, which was clunky, rigid ride. I usually run in Lunarglides and have enjoyed how soft this shoe feels.
thanks, do you think it provides enough stability for overpronators?

Absolutely. The runner store filmed me on a treadmill prior to buying them and I was very surprised how well it locked in my foot. They actually made me look like I had a neutral gait.
Sorry if this seems like a glowing endorsement. I had some terrible experiences with some other Nike models but this one works for me.
If you're a heel striker, then the support is only a scant bit less than that provided by the Zoom Structure 14 or 15. The 16 is a lot more flexible than previous iterations of the zoom structure. One thing that I noticed was that it seemed to increase pronation if you're a midfoot striker like myself. If you're a forefoot striker, it's has a decently cushioned forefoot. The toe box is roomy compared to previous versions of the zoom structure. It is a little less stable for when your doing sharp turns. For what it's worth, I was little disappointed.
Anyone else have any experience with the Structure 16?
I just finished a relax 8 mile in the Structure 16. I've ran in the 14s and 15s and I love the 16s the most. Same amount of support but with the Nike "dynamic support" I feel like the whole shoe is one piece instead of feeling the denser rubber in the arch of the foot like you'd find in the Saucony guide or Brooks adrenaline.
Before buying this shoe though I would recommend you try it on along with the Asic GTS-2000, Brooks Adrenaline, Saucony Guide, New Balance 860, and the Mizuno Alchemy. All these shoes are similar to design as the Nike Structure just other brands.
I work at a local running store in Washington state and I'd bring all these shoes out to people who pronate to see which one they like the best in terms of cushioning and support.
Is the GT-1000 similar to the Structure 16 as well? Do you know if the Mizuno Wave Inspire is similar to any of the shoes you mentioned?
The Inspire and 1000 are also very similar. They have a little less stability. However, not to much and they are at a nicer price point (At least, the 1000 is at $100 as opposed to the GTS-2000 at $120.)
will someone help me out here and agree that the Structure Triax's from the early 2000's (2001-2004) were an amazing shoe???
