What is with this Schumacher not having guys race that everyone is talking about? Is he really against them racing much?

will this stream for free on their youtube channel or does flotrack have the rights?
Free
The Friday night portion of the Final Qualifying Meet will be shown live on ArmoryTrack.com.
Yeah, and the one true American stud will not be there. No Galen, no record!
Lomong FTW. I'm gonna say no records though.

Number of times raced this year:
Rupp - 4
Lagat - 2
Farah - 2
O'Lionaird - 2
D-uane - 2
Symmonds - 1
Ritzenhein - 1
Bumbby - 1
Derrick - 1
Jager - 1
Lopez - 1
Huling - 1
Solinsky - 0 and a pace
Heath - 0
Teg - 0
Webb - 0
German - 0
It's up to you to say if that's a significant difference or not.
bumbi and jager both ran a mile and then a 2 mile.
lomong ran an 800 and then a mile.
so, they've all run 2...this will be 3.
this is the most they've ever raced. he's probably learning from alsal that you need to race to win.
What does he have against racing? I understand why you wouldn't want athletes racing all the time but they have to race sometime. That is what the sport is about. Now that I think about it they hardly raced in Europe last summer outside of the games. It would have been nice to see Jager and Lomong get into a fast 5k. Is there a reason why he does not like them racing much?
I agree that you need to race to win. Races teach valuable lessons in tactics and produce a kind of stimulus that you cannot get in practice. I understand that over racing can hurt guys and really tire them out but under racing leaves athletes unprepared when it counts.

From their what?
I don't understand how you people still haven't learned the difference between there, their, and they're. At least have someone copyedit your crap.

Its just to difficult fore me.
Isn't 7:55 kind of an ambitious pacing effort for Mahoney?
The thread title misspelled Andrew's nickname. It's Bumbi, not Bumby.

This would be quite the ploy.
I laugh every time. This is one of the things I love about this site.
Is Mahoney training with Jerry/OTC group?
One of the real advantages and the thing that really sucks about all of our best guys being with Salazar and Schumacher is that some other guys have to fly by the seat of their pants to get A-standard attempts.
For example, where/when will Ben True get a legitimate crack at the IAAF A-standard if these guys get it?
Teg and Heath have also raced.
Honestly, if I was Rupp i would be in this race. It would fit his system perfectly as well. He needs a standard, and he would get it in this race. Then he wouldn't have to waste an early season outdoor race to get it. All he'd have to worry about is a 10k at pre or payton jordan or even the trials themselves for that matter, since he's shown he doesn't love to hit high profile races too early on outdoors. Also, he could go for that AR he's been pushing for and have some quality competition because you know Jerry's guys would love to take a shot at Rupp. I could see Lopez making a real run to mix it up but running out of guess at the end.
Lomong will win with Bumbi right behind. His speed is too much for the others, and in the even, paced race this will surely be - and a pace within his range- hell be first if he wants it. Bumbi seems too sharp for anyone else to beat. Jäger and Derrick will be third and fourth, then Teg then Heath. All but Heath under 13:15
i couldn't find info on ticketing. is this free entry or no entry at all?
anyone with info on this???

I think Derrick takes it. He is the strongest. It will be hard and faster than most have ever run. it will not be a kickers race.
I hope GF and AW are doing another cycle to get to a higher level. Both are way behind on the distance stuff
BREAKING: Leonard Korir not going to Paris! 11 Universality athletes get in ahead of him!
Hicham El Guerrouj is back baby! Runs Community Mile in Oxford
What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
