Hey guys!! I'm Kara, and I've got a problem with what I think is dead legs. I'm a collegiate athlete, and for the past couple of meets I've found that when I need to push in my race I can't pick up my legs, no matter how much I want to. My mileage has been up at around 50 for the second half of december/most of january. I've had some good speed work in, and I've dropped my mileage to 40 in hopes of qualifying for championships in two weeks. The last chance in next Sunday. I can do my speed workouts just fine, all my runs have been around sub 7 or better, with an easy run here or there. Between XC and up until now I haven't taken more than 3 days off in a row in hopes of qualifying. I haven't been sleeping well the whole week leading up to my race yesterday, and I'm kind of at wits end. Any suggestions??
