It'll be tough for a few years, but definitely a positive move for the school. A lot of change will have to happen with the team though.

Actually Div III is the best division. The closest to the ideal of the student-athlete.Some of the best academic schools in the nation are Div III as are the smaller liberal arts ("very competitive") colleges.Div II is neither here nor there. It should be abolished and have the schools either go Div I or III.

Um, if Div. II is abolished, then Div. III becomes Div. II
D2 is a strange league because there are hardly any schools. It seems to get a lot of 9:20-9:50 HS 2 milers who weren't that strong academically in high school
???? There are 347 NCAA I institutions. At present, there 312 NCAA II member institutions. Not much of a difference.
