For what it's worth, here is a simple carbon cycle model online that lets you play around with different emissions scenarios:
http://forecast.uchicago.edu/Projects/isam.htmlNote that the "Industrial Emissions" parameter is in gigatons of carbon per year so you have to use the conversion factor 12/44 (~0.27) to convert your CO2 number to C.
That figure is increasing each year and the US is not contributing to the increase.
Not sure why you keep repeating this in every append. Global emissions means global emissions. As the second poster's P-Chem professor noted "climate change is not a science issue, it is a political issue", at least if you want to address it on the emissions side.
