All things being equal as far as academics, team comradre, tution amount, etc.
Would you chose to run at a D2 school as a "middle of the team-pack" miler, XC guy OR run for a D3 program where I could be one of the top runners, even as a freshman.

Would you chose to run at a D2 school as a "middle of the team-pack" miler, XC guy OR run for a D3 program where I could be one of the top runners, even as a freshman.
With those assumptions (and assuming just as easy to get a job after graduation at both and both have the major you are most interested in), I'd go to the school that I liked the best when I visited them.
In the end, that's the most important tiebreaker unless you are one of the top runners in the nation where you should be limiting your choices.
