Men's announcement should come soon.
Man I guess even more kids will be looking to jump ship.
I just hope its someone that can continue to move in upward direction for the sake of these good student/athletes.
So I don't come on these boards often. And for a week now I've started coming here on a regular basis. As a former D1 harrier I love just keeping up with things. But seeing rumors about Pat Henry going to Texas convinced me this thing can be ridiculous at times. He turned down Oregon, he'll turn down anything Texas offers him. If you think the Ducks wanted Robert Johnson over Pat Henry you're lying to yourself. They almost BEGGED for Pat Henry I bet.
Just goes to show that people dont know $hit on this message board
When the AD at Texas A&M will not go thru with building Pat Henry his new dream track and field complex, would you not considering leaving for 500K. Bill Bryne the previous Athletic Director whom hired Henry, loved track. This new AD does not like track and field. This is the problem.Texas A&M Does not host outdoor track meets since the track is in bad shape.

Mark Elliott (LSU) to Clemson
Elliott is not getting the position at Clemson. Ken Harden would get it before Elliott, Mark has been at LSU for 20 years and would enjoy leaving however the administration at Clemson sent the Elliott project about six weeks ago apparently into the ground. All 5 candidates interviewed last week are the people they are considering with one of those going to be named next week

So Texas A&M has a bad outdoor track but an amazing indoor facility.
Texas has a great outdoor facility but no indoor track.
Seems like kind of a silly reason to leave to get to a place that has the ability to host outdoors but not indoors because you are at a place that can host indoors but not outdoors.
If the administration has other qualms besides just updating the outdoor facility I can see the want to jump. Otherwise this is kind of a moot argument and probably not the reason why Pat would leave or not.
Looks like Columbia has a throws position they just posted and the UConn position posted yesterday looks to be operations/recruiting coordinator?
Also, paying attention to openings at small schools this year, I was surprised at the number of Christian schools that ask you to confirm belief in some pretty wild stuff in their mission statement as a part of the application process...guess it's their right but I never know how they find good candidates that out of touch with reality...
And they will still continue to be a horrible team
Ive heard Elliott to Clemson as well

Guess this rumor was true, saw morris resigned after three years and they have already named the assistant as the head coach. He was a former u of montana assistant. where is morris off to?
Resignation??? Not what I heard. I heard they were going to fire him before nationals but admin talked president into waiting until after nationals and gave him the opportunity to resign. Evidently he was manipulating scholarships, taking them away and then not willing to release athletes, no matter what the level of performance. Parents got uptight and school took notice once students started to leave or threaten to leave anyway.
Got this from and EXTREMELY reliable source.
Hence why you "being in touch with reality" has gotten you to the status of unemployed bum.
Pat Henry would never leave. End of story. I have no doubt you are pulling this rumor out of your ass.
Pat is not loyal like you are Mr Aggie to Texas A&M. He is loyal to money.
Plus with the only AD in country that would give track an
unlimited budget, it is smart to jump ship.
Let's face it UT is the flagship school in Texas.
Todd Lane (LSU Jumps coach) was the #2 choice after FSU coach turned them down..
Mark (LSU ) would have needed to interview. He did not interview so if he just got it while not interviewing Great job
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
