I was recruited by Norm a few years ago, but was not given a spot on the team. Was told that I would be able to walk on if I got in on my own (which I did), and three weeks before school starts he calls me up and says he doesnt want me anymore (I was a 4:14, 9:12, 14:50 guy spring of senior year). Guy is a complete jerk (at least he was 4 years ago and my guess is things dont change) and does absolutely nothing with the talent that does happen to have fall into his lap. It's no wonder Morgan Pearson recently transferred to Colorado and is now doing superbly. He also lost Johns Ross if I'm not mistaken as well, and he was a Footlocker finalist. IF you are looking for good academics and a good coach there are infinitely better schools that you can attend, trust me. Norm is resting on his laurels of having a head coaching job at a top university, and doesnt seem to feel the need to coach well. My opinion may be completely biased so take it with a grain of salt, but know that I'm not the only one who shares these opinions.
