I am a barefoot running virgin :)
I developed Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis about 2 months ago and after obsessively researching cures on the internet I inevitably came across the concept of barefoot/minimalist running.
Anyways I agree with the logic behind the theory and will try to incorporate these concepts. I do not want to rush into it however and have also read about people getting injured while transitioning.
With all that said, I have narrowed down my search for new shoes to the Nike Free Run+ 3.0 (5.0). As I understand 5.0 provides the most support and thus is a good transition shoe.
What do you guys think, pull the trigger?
