What % is kept for USATF and perk collectors like Mary ?
what's the word on the elite race? Is the standard still sub 15?
What is the percentage forwarded to Sandy victims vs the percentage for NYPD/NYFD/Sanitation Unions vs the percentage for USATF & NYRR ? Thanks.
This race is not a NYRR event, nor does it have anything to do with them. USATF New York get 0% Zero. 100% of the net profits go to the victims. There is also no NYPD or cleaning fee's. We are charging $25 and we are hoping $23-$24 per person is donated.
God, you're an idiot.
Who?
The jerk who asked about Mary's cut.
Yes, for sure!
BREAKING STRIDES FOR SANDY 5K NEWS: The Green Mountain Energy Company has signed on to sponsor the event and is donating $5 per registered individual! Now your donation is worth even more! Sign up now!

So will twitter democracy shut down this race like they did the NYC Marathon? ....... NYC Marathon was staged, ready to go, and would have been on national/international television for no less than 2.5 hours live on ESPN.... ESPN has it's sh*t together and would have totally spun up some donation efforts in the commericals and commentary and special interest pieces of the neighborhoods and even runners in the race from those neighborhoods. Probably would have been the largest donation spike on the Sandy charity scale. More than any 5 oclock news anchor or Daily News hit piece.
Yet the 5 boro fifedoms wanted to fight like rats and drag eachother down....
Let by gones be by gones. Good luck with the race. NYC is unsustainable at every level of it's existence.
Its sh*t together
Its existence
Hi Ms. Primerano,
I'm interested in running Strides for Sandy 5k. I go to college in the city but my team isn't going to be running. $35 is a bit steep for a broke college student; may I run for the reduced $10 fee?
Thanks!
Sure just bring a valid college ID and your in!
Thanks a lot I'll be there!
10/10
impressive.
What % of my entry will go directly to benefit victims?
"hoping" ?

If you haven't entered yet and paying $35 between $33-$34.
It could possibly be more as well, depending on the number of runners.

And in what form will this assistance take? What other entities will be involved?
