I know the last one in Boise was at a slight altitude, but this is a pretty big jump up to 5000 feet in Albuquerque. They've done well hosting USA championships indoors, but frankly, NCAA's is a bigger meet I feel like.
Any thoughts on this?

Boise and Albuquerque should be the twin permamnebt sites for NCAA and USATF Indoors. Both cities have a major national airport nearby serviced by Southwest Airlines. Both cities are fantastic hosts and have incredible running and track & field traditions.
Did you not remember that the USATF nationals were in "Burque just last year (actually earlier this one)?
Boise is about the same as Tucson; This site is higher, although not 'high' like 6000. Also, the only issue really is the differential effects on athletes, not the total effect. The 60s will be fast and the 3000s slower...
