Check out this guy's analysis of NCAA Men's Cross Country. It's a pretty thorough season preview and analysis of each of the Top 30's most recent races.

I told you Texas was the team to beat. It's letsrun official
Wisconsin isn't competing in the Greater Louisville Classic
Where is UVA? Gotta figure they should be in there after their performance this weekend.
Side Note: He said Texas had Trevor Van Ackeren a 3:44 1500, he actually ran 3:39 unattached in the race that Merber went 3:35 in
I think he is analyzing the NCAA top 30 teams as selected by the NCAA coaches, not trying to come up with his own ranking.
This is pretty well done. Granted a few mistakes, but for all 30 teams thats pretty thorough!

Totally agree! This is very impressive and is a great resource at this point in the season. It's hard to get every single thing right when previewing 30 teams.
Now that someone who knows what they are doing is taking the time to analyze the week to week results, maybe some of the voting coaches will read this and get the polls right!
This should probably be on the front page of Letsrun...better coverage than they ever give.
best analysis i've seen all year. i don't know why more people (letsrun, flotrack, etc.) don't do this
This is great! thorough research. I'd love to see this guys personal rankings
this is the most unbiassed analysis I have seen in a long time.
very impressive.
also....
GO COUGS!!!
Perhaps he will learn to write in the coming weeks. Is the writer in high school?
I'm impressed!
Solid analysis overall, but most is focused around the top 5 as if they won't change. Things never pan out that way and this doesn't really show who is currently underrated and can and will compete with the big boys and come onto the scene.
How can Clarkson can be All America in the steeple, when he is not an American and did not make the NCAA final?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter anymore if someone is actually American or not to be an All-American.

Wisconsin is, but on the distaff side.
As a side note on the women -- they won the Virginia meet, beating #15 Virginia handily and their Regional ranking only changed by one -- and in the down direction (well, because of the strong performance by Butler, ironically powered in part by Madison native Olivia Pratt's 13th overall place that helped solve there 4th/5th place weakness).
He was not AA, did not make the final.
