Tell us smart guy, how will it get worse? What is anyone going to do to him? Nothing. No titles stripped, no financial penalities, nothing...get it? Nothing. Live with it.
How is any of this news. GEEZ!

One thing people are overlooking is that Armstrong has potentially saved the reputations of Hincappie, Zabriske, and Leipheimer. All of those guys were rumored to have testified against him in exchange for immunity or reduced penalties for their own (presumed) doping. Now those guys don't have the stigma of being *known* dopers, thanks to Armstrong.
I am glad no one on here has seen that USADA is a miserable failure and is going after a RETIRED athlete. WHO THE HECK CARES? They should be raiding the NFL, NCAA football, MLB, etc. They are a complete joke and you're feeding into their failure. Lance is not competing and fighting the past just allows present athletes to cheat and get away with it. They are afraid of the money and power in football. Cowards.

Hey Lance, welcome to the Letsrun message board!
Yeah, if only i were Lance. That would be cool.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/report-usada-in-possession-of-positive-armstrong-samplesThis is awesome. Can't wait to see what Lance has to say about it.
You realize you could have full HD video with surround sound of Lance sticking the needle in his arm and explaining what was in the vial... and that's still not going to change the mind of someone determined to believe in their hero.
And yes - it is awesome. Thanks for posting.
Are you guys serious? The evidence is there to bust the biggest fraud in the history of sports and you think they should just look the other way?
You guys are crazy. Take the dude down. Nothing would be worse for the sport moving forward than acting like it doesn't matter that Lance doped when they've got a pile of evidence a mile high.
Would love to see how many people who are so certain he doped see any evidence forst hand and have a good understanding of the information so they can make an accurate decision instead of parroting what other haters are saying.

So you're saying the testing is faulty? We're talking about actual failed tests at this point. Read the OP's link.

They will be sanctioned. Tygart has been quite clear that there would be reduced penalty (not immunity) for those who talked to USADA.

You realize that USADA has absolutely no authority under teh Ted Steven's Amateur Sports Act to test NCAA, NFL, or MLG athletes, don't you? Totally incoherent rant o your part.
We don't know anything about theae tests. We haven't seen the numbers. You are assuming the people who wrote the articles have seen the information, which is highly doubtful.
If i told you a secret and you told it to someone who told it to someone, whats the likelyhood the secret would be the one i told you?

It is only news to those like Tor, Markus Sommers, Mr. Obvious, Rojo and the like.
They are just like the letsrun grammar skool trolls that infest the forum: better ignored.
I do see your point. However, USADA isn't going to make shit up at this point to get attention. They know they have to play by the rules or they're going to look like tools and forever lose their reputation and backing. They've got the dirt. They're bringing the dirt. The only people that will still believe Lance in a few months will be the same people that think WWF wrestling is real.
Buckle up Lance backers. It's going to be a bumpy next month or two.
You guys must really hate Lagat. Or does conjecture trump an actual positive test and a B sample that fell just shy of a ridiculously high positive standard. Lagat's B sample was like saying someone didn't have anything to drink who registered .06 BAC.

Just showing yall this topic is getting lots of talk on swimming, cycling, and triathlon threads similar to LetsRun...
Again, wtf do you expect to happen in the next few months? The people who don't give a crap one way or the other still win't give a crap and the people who think he is guilty will still feel the same way. He will still be who he is now, as will Livestrong. And he will still have his titles.
The usada thinks they have dirt. They had dopers ready to testify. Do we have numbers from any tests?

Lance Liestrong, a retired athlete who could become a team owner or team manager to junior or young cyclists some day. And tell them its ok to dope, cause "the ends justifies the means"... or cause "everyone does it, it's just how the sports works"... or some crap like that...
And then you've forgotten about Bruyneel, del Moral, Ferrari, and Marti, all who were active in cycling until the USADA charges come down... I suppose you'd have all of them work in cycling for the next 20 years with young cyclists... and then maybe Bruyneel could take over as UCI president in 20 years, be a good successor to Verb and McQ...fit right in...
I bet you'd love it if your teenage son decided to join a team managed by Bruyneel, whose team doctor was del Moral, and had team trainers Marti and Ferarri... yea sure, then tell me how pissed off at USADA you'd be....
Bassons hit it right on the head in his latest interview when he psychoanalyzed Armstrong... biological father left when he was young... stepfather beat the shit out of him, then abandoned him and his mom... had to grow up with out any male role model, so his concept of love is warped... did anything he could to fill that void, and never found his way down the straight path... and somehow we want him and his shady crew around the next generation of young cyclists... yall apologists must be crazy in the head
