Seriously? This is not Bumpkin U. This is a program with some pretty high quality and driven athletes. You were thinking they might throw a tantrum and refuse to do workouts b/c their coach is 32? Tsk Tsk

BTW, it's OAKCREEK apartments
You troll!

Oakwood Corporate Apartments is where companies like Facebook, Intel, Cisco, Apple, AMD, Android, etc. house newly arrived physicists and engineers from China, Iran, Pakistan, India, ...
So who is coaching the women?? Milt or Plummer
And Mountain View is nowhere near Stanford and coaches don't live there. Many, however, live at Oakcreek
Will Chris keep his current sprint coach - Coach White, and who will he seek out ot fill his throws coaching position. These would be great jobs as well.
Many Stanford graduate students live at Oakwood Apartments on Middlefield Road which is only a few miles from Stanford. Over the years I've seen elite athletes running at an insane pace on Middlefield Road.

Not sure about White, but I heard he's definitely taking Raybo and is considering Crazy Black Leatherhat.
Well, Powell is at historic Oregon--one of the very few schools in the country with a running program that is better than Stanford's. Floreal was at Stanford for, what, 14 years? If it was that unpleasant there, he would have left long ago. People need a change sometimes to stay fresh in their careers. The average American changes jobs every 5 years, so he was long overdue.
Cost of living is an issue in Palo Alto. But the quality of life in the area is second to none.

Supposedly Milt was able to negotiate a better deal because, thanks to Raybo, they will save a ton of money driving to meets vs. flying.

White was fired by Floreal before he left for UK.

Georgetown's AD just sent out a letter to Alumni confirming this.
Big hire by Stanford, bigger loss for GTown. Given his successes at Georgetown despite the lack of facilities, it will be very exciting to see what he can do with the support of one of the best athletic programs behind him.
Can Georgetown's incoming recruits now opt out? He recruited them for Georgetown and now he is off to Stanford. I am thinking of Samantha Nadel from North Shore HS.
Oh my God this is hilarious. I read this and could not stop laughing. All info you got here is insane and your cudos are hilarious. You all have no idea. LETS ALL PLAY P.P..
The new A/D Muir will be on a short leash after USC and Cal racked up over three dozen medals in London. Miltenberg better deliver quick or he'll be gone within a year.
Throws Coach from the SEC who applied for the Director Job and did not get an interview may consider the Throws position since he has family in Cali.
No chance bub. His throws coach will come from the pac12!
It's not worth it at the Incredible Four Oly Medal Machines (UCLA,CAL,STAN,USC). For sure, you get to wear Kareem's or Jim Plunkett's colors for a few years but look how the alumni assns booted out Anthony, Art, Vin, Edrick, Jason, Robert, Jeanette, John, etc. I mean track coaches aren't paid like football coaches and we can't afford being jacked like that.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
