"Seb sounds like a huge dick. I wish someone would explain how tweeting makes you run slower."
"He was my hero as a kid, now he is a bitter, power hungry, mismanaging idiot, imo."
Also, he couldn't break 12 seconds from the blocks.

Astonishing then that he ran 21.7 from blocks, that's a hell of a straight............
And broke 46 for 400m, amazing last 300m...........
2 Americans in the final!
Agreed in regards to Coe jut sounding like an ignorant jerk off.
First off, for most athletes twitter is not about some insecurity complex where they have to tell the world what they are doing to feed their ego. It is about being an athlete and helping turn what you love doing into a viable career. The more you tweet, the more followers you have. The more followers you have the greater your exposure. The greater you exposure the easier it is to attract sponsors.
Second, anyone that thinks spending a few minutes a day sending out tweets is going to detract from your athletic potential is just being foolish. There are 24 hours a day, not 24 minutes. There is more than sufficient time for an athlete to spare a few minutes a day on twitter and still do everything they have to.

Exactly. But these old-heads like Coe and Ian Steward don't want to see athletes getting exposure and pulling in their own sponsors. That may 'upset' the balance of power as it is today. They are scared.
