There was a great radio call, maybe BBC, of the world champs 5000m between Kipchoge and El Guerrouj in 2003. Heard it live online, never forgot it.
For what must have been the last 50m of the race, the announcer just screamed "El Guerrouj! Kipchoge! El Guerrouj! Kipchoge!" again and again until the race was over. Maybe it reads like it was annoying, but it was very exciting to hear live especially not being able to see the race. Looked everywhere for a clip of it but all I can find is the video.
