I usually double 2-3 days. Monday morning practice we have tempos and Wednesday morning practice we do hills. I usually put in a 3-4 mile run in the afternoon on these days to get in a little more mileage. Is it bad to run doubles in the afternoon after a workout in the morning? It seems like people usually do a little run in the morning and the workout in the afternoon. Also, is it to risky to go at a solid steady pace on these second runs? I have been feeling pretty good so I usually run them at around 7:10 pace. I do my other long steady runs at 6:45 pace. at 65 MPW right now(building up to 75). Advice...
