Just read the opinion from J. Sparks in Austin (he is a bit of a pistol).
He tossed Lance Armstrong's lawsuit out without prejudice (no decision on the merits) because the lawsuit was too long!!!! The court accused LA of using the lawsuit to create a media backlash on USADA. From the opinion:
"This Court is not inclined to indulge Armstrong's desire for publicity, self-aggrandizement, or vilification of Defendants, by sifting through eighty mostly unnecessary pages in search of the few kernels of factual material relevant to his claims."
Lance has two huge DC firms (Patton Boggs and Williams Connolly) and Texas local counsel working for him and his complaint gets dismissed for being too long!!! I have to say, Lance picked the wrong court for this case. J. Sparks hit the nail on the head.
