That's just stupid... Cam has run WAY too much this season, he will be lucky to be in his indoor share after all those mile on his legs.
120 mile week will destroy a young person like that, no question

Chances of the Africans running a tactical 10000 (say, 27:15) and Cam laying a 24 on them at the end?
Cam isn't running the 10,000. It's on the front page of Letsrun, genius.
Actually, he is. He got a bye to skip the qualifying race so some genius folks (like yourself?) thought he was not running the 10000 in London.
Turns out he is.
Genius!

But he can easily drop a 24 at the end of a 27:15 5k. Who else has that speed?

Also, there is about a 0.001% chance of Bekele going sub 12:50 this race.
Absolutely! Imagine a world class distance runner being knowledgeable about his competition!
...Rupp is NOT competition for Bekele.

Are you aware that Chris Derrick barely missed making the US team?
I am not fond of the high mileage stuff, but thus far Cam has shown absolutely no sign of breaking down. And while Rupp and Lagat had tough races at OT, Cam in Canada had a 14+ 5K "jog-a-thon" (he probably went out to get in a couple of 10 milers after the race just to get "a little work in").
Rupp can obviously do it, and why would Bekele even run a sub 12:50 as a "big FU" to Rupp, he has no reason to do such a thing and Bekele is way past his time anyway
Looks like Gebremeskel ran 12:46 as a big FU to Bekele.
