His 10.00 into a 1.5 m/s wind equates to 9.90. Meanwhile, Yohan Blake's 9.90 with a .5 m/s behind him equates to a 9.93.
So Gay could have beaten the world champ if they had raced.
The key is just staying healthy.

Yeah, I found that as well that Gay ran about 9.9 corrected and Blake more 9.93. Even Cram stated this opinion in the BBC broadcast (vids are on youtube). The question is are these wind corrections reliable?
9.9 or 10.0 - still a long way to go to 9.7! but I'm excited to see him back running, he is one of the very best.
