Cameron Levins Is Better Than Galen Rupp At The Same Age

I hope he doesn't. I'd like to think Levins is better than that.

Without a doubt. While Rupp and Salazar are fretting over every detail, Levins is running. He doesn't have time to worry. He is too busy putting the miles in. This kid has just started to show his true potential. Looking forward to see what he can accomplish while doing this full-time in a few years.

Levin's is a work in progress.

He might just explode from all the miles and have a short career because he hasn't been careful or "fretting" over everything.

Salazar "frets" because he is a control freak. Salazar and Rupp are insecure and need external aids. Levins is old school and he'll have a better career when all is said and done, and he'll probably do more and say less.

Why is Salazar fretting over Rupp's mileage and training? Look at Salazar's own career and what happened, that's why. Obviously, Levins is doing great right now, but he's done nothing to clearly show he's better than Galen. Galen Rupp is the GOAT.

Really? So Salazar is trying to relive his own running career through Galen Rupp? That is actually kind of sad in a way. Salazar did have a pretty good career and held American records at 5000m and 10,000m, something which his protege Galen Rupp will never do.

Rupp will never hold an AR? I believe he is holding one right now with his 26:48.00, only one other non African has broken 27 in the 10K and well, we all know how he is doing. He's recently hit a huge PR and run 12:58 and Salazar believes he's in better shape, which means he might be a 5K AR threat too. LOL sure, you worded it awkwardly and try to blame me on it, you said Salazar held records at 5000 and 10000, that can be interpreted either way as Rupp holding one of the two records or both. You never stated that you meant holding both of them simultaneously. Also, you do not know that Rupp cannot EVER do that, you are just assuming that's just more proof you are just a hater. The fact you waste so much time trying to bash him already shows that I cannot take you seriously.

No, I didn't "word it awkwardly" and try to blame you for it. I am going to try to teach an intellectual inferior and may I have the requisite patience. OK, if I said that Geb held world records in the 5000m and the 10,000m, and that this was a feat that Rupp would never achieve, everybody with intelligence would know that IF Rupp miraculously held the world record at 10,000m, he has still failed to match the achievement of Geb, and there is no need to explain this to anybody but dolts. I agree. Running 150 miles/week (allegedly) he probably will be better than Rupp was at the same age. Until of course he gets injured and he isn't.

Now you are trying to compare world records to American records and try to sell them off as the same magnitude of accomplishment. Second of all, I'm When did I ever bring Geb into this? Comparing Salazar and Rupp is one thing and then Rupp to Geb is COMPLETELY different. Also, performances have obviously changed so clearly a 12:58/26:48 and 13:11/27:25 are not the same anymore, but neither is the competition. The man who holds the American record 5K happens to also be one of the world's greatest of all time. So saying Salazar was superior because he held both while Galen only held one doesn't make sense. Lastly, once again speaking from an AMERICAN RECORD point of view and not WORLD RECORD, you still don't know if Rupp can get the AR 5K. Nobody said anything about Rupp going after WR or even medaling at Olmypics. Anyways I'm done posting on this thread because I know I am right and you are wrong and your attempted put downs make me laugh because you are talking anonymously through a computer and trying to sound all tough and smart.
