Kara is at a point in her career where the only important thing is earning dollars. All of her best times are behind her.
Nice someone has had a slice of noshytsherlock cake
This was a paycheck race. Cash the check, meet and greet at the expo, run a time trial. The RnR group usually pays one e lite to show up and keep the local sports writers happy.
What do you mean? African or European Goucher?

What is the leg speed velocity of an unladen Goucher?
I think she should work on the cadence of her center of gravity and maybe the velocity that her feet can move her center of gravity through space and over time over a predetermined course. I'll bet she could do the "tough mudder" in under 1:10!! All while staying relaxed.

Her leg speed and foot speed is fine, its her leg speed VELOCITY she needs to work on.
Points on a rotating wheel at different distances from the center have very different velocities, even though they have the same number of rpms. e.g. In a car wheel a point at the furthest distance from the hub (where the rubber meets the road) is traveling both at the linear speed of the car, and far faster than a point near the hub.
Yea , hubbie off the Nike pay role and no job , a kid , girl has to make a living.
Um, she may have a baby, but she also doesn't have a real job. Is all this woman has to do every day is run, and then look after a baby. Plus she has a husband who also doesn't have a job, so she should have very little stress compared to others. I do wish her luck and think that she might bring home a medal at he games.

hahahahahahahahahaha. Oh my god, you are a funny guy.
According to her Twitter/Facebook accounts, she ran ill with GI problems and suggested she shouldn't have run at all:
"That is the first and last time I race with stomach issues!"
sounds like lots of people posting don't have a girlfriend, and if you ever do get one they will be 3 times the size of Kara.

You'd think everyone that post on letsrun would have figured out what sarcasm is by now. Apparently not...
I like Christoher Cross. And that aint sarcasm you're smelling, bro!
Well, competitor group is basically doing its part as a de facto olympic team sponsor by paying big bucks for Kara to show up and do a marathon pace run. Kara is probably just getting into the hardest part of her marathon training sequence for London. Not the time to test fitness with a hard half marathon effort. This was obviously a paid workout. But, given that Kara is missing out on appearance fees from a spring marathon, more power to her for getting paid to train in public.
Gotcha. Dunk you very much. -Sarcasmo the Magnificent
Her excuses for sub par performances and need for attention are not attractive qualities.
