For the past couple years, I've been doing most of my training in Brooks Adrenaline GTS, which have worked pretty well for me. I'm quite flat-footed and somewhat injury prone, so the Adrenalines have been a good and supportive but not incredibly heavy shoe for me. However, I could use a change, and would really appreciate some recommendations.
In particular, I'd like to change because I've been struggling with some tendonitis and neuritis near my extensor tendon (on the top/inside of the foot, down to the big toe) that seems to bug me a lot more when I'm wearing the Brooks Adrenaline than when I wear my flats (Nike LunaRacer +2s). I'm still looking for a supportive shoe--the flats are just for workouts--so anything with similar cushion/support to the Adrenalines but also a light upper similar to the LunaRacers would be really fantastic.
