People on here are living their life in fear. What if this happens, what if that happens. The truth is that if you have a degree in Chemical Engineering and 60,000 in debt you are far better off in the long run then having no degree and no debt. In life you have to make the assumption that certain degrees will be worth something. If a degree in chemical engineering is not worth anything then I would say we are all screwed anyways and the system is rigged. If you land a job making 75,000 a year over 10 years that is 750,000. If you have no degree and get a job that makes 40,000 over ten years that is 400,000. So you have an additional 350,000 to pay off 60,000 netting you a positive 290,000 for making that decision. Of course the best route is to be your own boss and run a business good luck under president Hillary.
