I've made it about 1.5 hours a few times, but it was pretty hard. What's the longest you've gone?

I never run wearing headphones. Why would I?
A couple hours. I don't wear headphones either. They screw everything up.
Someone told me about some headphones that allow you to hear reasonable amounts of ambient sound as well as the music - some kind of open construction I guess. I never followed up. Might be worth trying, I can't imagine ever running with normal headphones on.
I've run for over 40 years without using headphones. Running is an escape from all the noise and distractions of the world around us. Why would you want to ruin that experience with your stupid headphones?
I like to listen to the music and the news while running. Otherwise, running is just too boring!
To answer the OP's actual question: two hours and forty minutes, my longest non-stop run. Dunno how far that was: maybe more than 20 miles and less than 22?

Yeah! Why would you want to combine two things that you enjoy? You wouldn't drink beer at a baseball game!
My longest run was a 30 miler in just over 4 hours. No headphones. My longest run with headphones is probably 30 min on a treadmill.

I know, right! I've always enjoyed sleeping and driving my car.
But seriously, I don't run with headphones either (no opinion on others wearing them), and my longest run was 2.5 hours.
I do occassionally run with headphones when on a treadmill. Otherwise I don't. Longest run with headphones was a 16-miler in my local gym. Longest run without would be the 50-miler I raced.
Longest with headphones was 21 miles. Longest without was marathon.
About 100 minutes.
33.5 miles. Headphones are for the treadmill bro.
2 hours probably...never had the urge to use headphones

Same here, I have never worn them running. I do use them on long rides (~2.5+, but do not switch them on until out of town (and usually on off-road paths). I have used them when on the exercise bike but not sure that I have done so even on a treadmill).
Forty five years and ten days.
You folks that don't use headphones sure are special.
does the average person wear headphones while running a marathon? I have never raced anything with headphones but I usually wear then for longer training runs and anything on the treadmill

No offense, but it isn't the running that is boring. It is your mind.
