So it's the first week of practice and I'm a 400m runner moving up to the 800m. My pr's are 52.6 and 23.8 for the 200m, these were both last year outdoor. This indoor season i ran rhe 300m in 37.8 and the 600m in 1.28. For the past 3 weeks i've run around 25-35mpw and this week i've stepped it up i doubled on monday and ran 4.4miles in the morning and 6.1 at practice with about a half mile warmup and a half mile of pickups. Today i ran a hill workout that ended up being around 5.9miles all together including warmup cooldown. I'm planning to double again tomorrow and friday. Thursday i'm going to do around 6miles and 10miles on saturday. I was wondering if i'm going to hard right now, i don't want to burnout, but i really want to have a good season so what are you guy's thoughts. Also what do you think i'll be able to run for the 400 and 800 this season?
