I don't see much more than mild irritation - Rupp was trying to get up and out, and when faced with a difficult social situation, he fled. So what?
Rupp did roughly the same thing after losing to Solinsky's 26:59 - Rupp went over to congratulate Soksi, but the big guy was talking to someone else, so, a little flustered, Rupp just walked away.
Of course on LRC the incident was interpreted as an aggressive act by Rupp to diss Solinsky. When all it was was a mildly difficult social situation that Rupp didn't know how to solve. So he bolted.
Point is, I am sure that if Rupp read this, he would be shaking his head at the misinterpretation.
