As a high school coach I am looking for some information on building mental toughness in my athletes. It's not that hard to do the type of training to improve running performance and while I do believe that training in itself will help athletes to become tougher competitors, there is obviously a strong mental edge that counts for a lot in running.
I am looking to design a mental training program to help my athletes to become more tough as competitors. So basically I was wondering if anybody has tips or recommendations on the best types of books & resources that are out there. Thanks for any helpful responses.
