usually wear my kinvaras, but wore my racing flats today. My legs don't feel as tired and I tore it up on my intervals.
What is a good shoe that is kindof a hybrid between the two, that I could wear for my base? Or does anyone train in flats? I'm just worried about my achilles and wearing out the flats too soon.
Brooks Pure Connect. It rides and fits like a flat but cushions like a performance trainer.

I do 100% of my training in the streak xc 2. I've done up to 150mpw in these shoes. Fugging awesome shoe and I wish they wouldn't have messed up the tongue on version 3. Its much less comfortable.
