I get cold sores, usually once per year, but they're always either on my lip or more rarely inside my nose (those fvckin hurt like hell). I didn't think you could get them inside the mouth, but have recently gotten an open sore on my tongue that seemed to come out of nowhere. The internet says it's likely a canker sore, but my girlfriend does not get cold sores and I don't want to infect her in case it IS a cold sore. Do people even get cold sores on their tongues?
