I may be getting a pair from the Faas line, and was wondering which shoes have the best cushioning for regular runs.
Also, which ones are best for faster workouts, like on the track?
I've done/am doing some research but want more insight
Thanks

On the individual. I wear the Faas 300 for all my speed/some LRs on the treadmill and have worn them for 10k-half marathons with great success ( this also includes having custom made inserts in the shoe as well) I started running late in life (although sometimes you wouldn't know it with these "fast" shoes--cough, cough.) For other runs on trails/asphalt I wear another brand of light trainers.
I have two Jr high kids. One wears the 550 for her runs because she has high arches and pronates. The other one can wear the 300 (or even flats) without problems/inserts. ( has the same type of me feet/arch as mine, ankles not flexible).
Overall, I have been very pleased with the Faas line!
faas 250 and 300 are great for fast stuff. The 300 is probably better for tempo runs. 500 is a good neutral cushioned shoe for everyday.
I wear my faas 250s, for tempo up to 9 miles long and faster stuff
250s are good for every run
thanks for the replies
I'm thinking Faas 550 is my favorite - is that alright for neutral runners?
any drawbacks?
I use 400's for everyday trainers (neutral and VERY cushioned for their weight, drawback is they don't last more than about 500 miles before the uppers start tearing). 250's for 5K races and workouts. I just got a pair of 350's in the mail today which I will start to use as everyday trainers. I've also tried the 500's but found them to be just too heavy but otherwise a fine neutral, cushioned shoe.
