If you can run a 3:35 or whatever he did for the 1500 and a 14:3x for the 5k, (although he should have been sub 14 with his shorter race times) a 19:30 road 5k is really poor.While running 20-25 easy miles a week just to stay in shape in college (literally 3 hours of running a week, very little) I only lost 30-40 seconds on my 5K, which was low 17's.He could have been just keeping in ok shape, like working out 5 days a week, running 20 miles a week and still be in 15:30 shape easily. He's also just 33!
