vandy has had one good race in 4the years? When Keith was at Alabama they were awful. Vanderbilt will have one good year then bye bye.
I also have to think this thread has Vanderbilt coaches (Rita) posting about unc. They must be recruiting some of the same kids this year and they think posting negative stuff on message boards actually helps on recruiting.
Florida
Vandy
Arkansas
UGA
Do any of you Vols know what Coach Watts is up to these days?
I only had one conversation with the coaches but I was quite impressed with them and the team. It is a small amount of information to base any recommendation on, but I would at least mention that it was worth looking into if the question came up (e.g., 'the question' what schools might be good for someone like me interested in running and academics and good but probably not on Stanford's A-list? and other questions as well).
Besides, which team in the SEC would you most like to see do well?
Coach Steve Keith taught me how to enjoy running while studying, result of this equation = 2x all american

Rita? As in the senior that graduated last year that is not a coach? Letsrun ignorance at its best, you must have gone to UNC. They had a great year last year, this success is the result of developing runners. The Vandy coaches are class acts and recruit student athletes as the poster above said. Coach Keith cares about his runners. Everyone knows what Watson is about. Vandy will run all over the field on Monday, and this trend will continue in the future.
I am affiliated with nor an SEC or an ACC team. Vanderbilt is the way to go. They are the model of a team you want to be on. Well done Vandy!
I wont hide behind a forum so you can email me @
cbilling81@yahoo.comUmm, I think they meant Rhonda, the assistant coach. If that's the case, it would be the first negative thing I have ever heard about her as a coach or an individual. Both Steve and Rhonda have worked hard to build a very successful program the old fashion way. Those of us in the SEC area that follow the sport can attest that this isn't just a fluke year. They are developing runners year in and out, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the start of a run of national qualifying teams. Shame they don't have a equal men's team though...
If Rita was still around, she's not one to trash talk either... If she had equability left...this would be a national title team.
Nashville isn't as great of a place to develop runners as Chapel Hill, but it's certainly not Baton Rouge either.
Best of luck to Steve and Rhonda and the ladies at SEC this weekend. They've earned their success.
Hey Baby...You really better hope those girls don't choke.
Go Gators BEAT VANDY
So who wants to say how elite unc is now? The women were 5th in the ACC....riding the coattails of a stolen canadian from wash. SMH
Anyone able to give results?
ark 33, uf 66, uga 68
GATORS GATORS GATORS
I have a couple of former athletes that run for Vandy and they love everything about the school and the program. When kids from rival schools ask about their experience I highly recommend the school.
