He's breaking his silence after 19 long years.
low 26 for 8K...I thought he was good?
You're thinking of Weird Bill Henk, not Al
he's been pretty quiet in college, eh?
dare to dream with your parks and recreation management degree buddy. i'm sure his parents will be proud. outstanding for a 9 min high school 2 miler to run "low 26's" over 8km in college, isn't it?! what a freaking slacker. he's so intent on making everyone think he's a bundle of llaughs and wild and crazy that he'll end up pissing his life away if he's not careful. ridiculous.
give me a break...dude you are lame. I think henk is a funny dude and you are a 29 yr. old loser who spent five years of his life being very, very serious about training and stuff just so he could throw down a 15:17 5k.
rock on.
are you kidding me give me a break? Your such an elitist punk. Oh, big doctor surgeon...tell me why majoring in parks and recreation is pathetic. Next time you run in a park with your horrendously stale and dull life of no fun, ask yourself who takes care of the trails and trees etc etc
ragging on the kid for having a sense of humor and doing what he wants, you make me sick.
"Can't this wait till I'm old? Can't I live while I'm young?"
Just because you worked hard and/or spent a long time in school does not mean that you are not and "elitist." Most of the doctors and surgeons that I know are elitist. The amount of "trim" that you get is surely a terrific representation of your outstanding life. Congrats to you!
P&R is akin to Communications when it comes to "difficult college majors!" Tough classes like wild grass management and science for non-science majors. I think Patrick Ewing had tougher classes!
Was this entire thread, outside of my post, written by Mint Henk?
Give me a break, I'm calling BS on your claim to be a general/trauma surgeon at age 29. Perhaps you are a surgery resident with hopes on making it into a trauma fellowship, but a trauma surgeon/general surgeon not possible by age 29.
Phish/Chalkdust Torture?
One of my favorite Phish songs.
Well he certainly is well on the way to that adorable "God" complex most surgeons have.
er, actually, you're right about the age, but i'm a general/trauma surgeon here in texas. nice try though. i've seen that shit cause more than one of my friends "growing up" to lose their get up and go. not to mention every other f***ing car wreck off of i-35 is positive for thc. i hate the stuff. get away from it while you can. and just for the record, my best 5 was 14.17- quit running after college and went to med school.
because parks and recreation is a f***ing copout major and you know it. it's a way to get a degree on the least amount of work possible. boring life? what?! far from boring or mundane, little fella. i won't mention the trim i've hooked up with solely because of this job. elitist punk? are you f***ing kidding me? because i worked my ass for 8 years to get where i'm at? next time you're passing between austin and dallas and that f***ing helicopter comes by to scrape your wrecked out ass off the highway, you'll be glad i'm an "elitist punk". now go away.
