I did not know that, that's for the correction.

I was just on Kara's FB page. She posted a pic of her and Colt at a 'goodbye party". Guess it's true. I wonder who will coach her and how her body will hild up now that she won't have access to all the "Nike toys" she was used to using.
That was the Webb's goodbye party earlier this summer.
We know that Adam has struggled with depression before, so the weather excuse actually makes a fair bit of sense. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't wanna live in the northwest. All that rain and cloudiness would just keep me in the dumps I think.

Or maybe they realize that Alberto sucks when coaching the marathon. Any bets on when Ritz follows?
If Ritz stays in Portland he will never make it to the starting line in January.
This rumor is utter and complete BS. The Gouchers are not considering leaving PDX or Alberto, and will stay in the northwest.

Adam ran the last few miles with Paul Hefferon. Paul runs for Hansons. I also saw Kevin talking with Adam. Must be Hansons. Kara and Desi training together.
Well, if we're gonna play that game, he only finished a few seconds in front of McCandless, who is trained by Hudson. As with a lot of LRC threads, this is all speculative.
the main reason this sounds like utter BS is the fact that Kara has done with with salazar and has really only had this one year as a bad year, if you can call it that. she came back from childbirth to go right back into training and still did well, 3rd at nyc half, 5th in boston in a pr, qualified for daegu. some say she might have plateaued by now, wouldnt surprise me but she has still had a great career and the fact her "disapointing" year after childbirth goes to prove it even more.
and the other main reason why i think this is comeplete BS is the fact that this is an OLYMPIC year. who the hell (besides webb, but he did so a year before) leaves there coach during the most important year out of the championship cycle? it would be a stupid move financially and in terms of her training as she would need to ramp up for the trials and, if its meant to be, the olympics. if the gouchers are actually moving to colorado and kara is leaving salazar, its not going to happen this year unless they're completely stupid and want to screw up any chance they have of competing in the games. next year? well we'll just have to wait and see...
How about YOU go ask Kara or Adam and report back when you have some proof, something more believeable than your self absorbed babbling. In the meantime, check out Kara's blog and tell us where it gives the impression she is possibly considering leaving Oregon.http://karagoucher.competitor.com/2011/10/03/a-new-generation-of-believers/

I never heard where they were going. I just know for a fact they are leaving Alberto. Kara needs a marathon coach. They have contacted several US coaches. If you don't believe me then ask Adam or Kara.

They are indeed moving. This is not rumor. Kara confirmed it on her facebook yesterday.

The "goodbye party" picture was posted by Julia Webb back in July. She tagged Adam in it, and it shows up on his page.

You've got that right, homes.
I'm very comfortable with calling this thread rumor-mongering firmament.
If it reddens your glare to think otherwise, have at it.
A lot of changes coming for Alberto's group...to be continued.
I know Adam grew up in Colorado Springs but does Julie Henner have the time to coach additional elites to a potential IAAF Outdoor WC Gold Medal and/or Summer Olympic Gold Medal as she did for 2011 Daegu 1500M World Champion Jenny Barringer Simpson ????????????? I know Julie has had numerous inquiries from all corners of the globe but she has her gig at the US Air Force Academy too.
They aren't moving. Whoever said that Kara said something about moving on Facebook is full of shit. She's just coming off of an injury and has the best resources (equipment/doctors) that money can buy available to her. Why would she consider moving now ?
Adam responded to a friend of mine with an e-mail and was unaware of what anyone was talking about when moving was mentioned.
She is 33 years old. Is she retiring from serious running?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
