You clearly didn't get my point. You had 3 guards total with Peeler in, and 3 guards total with Peeler out! He is nothing!!! He SUCKS!!! Why do you think we let him go???

Pat Tillman was affected by the terrorist attacks that killed thousands of US citizens on in NY and Washington on Sept. 11th, 2001. He was in Afghanistan battling Al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters in order to prevent future terrorist attacks on US soil.
i really like garnett and forgive him for his comments but there is no way that he said those things "tongue in cheek" as some people are suggesting. when you watch the tape, he is completely serious and straight-faced when he's talking. if it was some sort of joke, he would probably have cracked a little smile or something. the man was caught up in his emotions and let his adrenaline get the best of him. he is a great guy and should be forgiven but there is no way what he said was as a joke.

I beg to differ. Bullshit is a noun, is it not? It can be instigated just like a 'fight' can be instigated or a 'retaliation' or a 'coup' or 'trouble' or a 'riot' or a 'debate.'
...or, a 'turd.' Ok...maybe bullshit can't be instigated.
That was a man size hit you took dog...

Yes! He was programmed to react the way he did by two decades of the "Go Team" football mentality that is so important to our culture. As patriotic conservatives, we honor his sacrafice and hope more patriotic young men such as Mr. Tillman enlist to help fight Al-Qaeda.
Thank goodness the education system is still working.
A clone jacking ideas and posting them as their own is a true jackass.
Kevin Garnett simply was trying to put into perspective how intense he expected game 7 to be and used an analogy that was probably inappropriate. Why do we care so much? He is an athlete playing a game. We should care more about the ridiculous words that come out of the mouth of our President to justify an unjust war. It is funny how we are lied to everyday by high ranking officials in our government, but what gets us really fired up is when an athlete makes a mistake and uses a war analogy when describing an NBA game. It was wrong, but don't crucify the guy over it. I'm personally more upset and distraught when I watch Fox News or CNN then while I'm watching Sportscenter. When those damn Lakers win that really upsets me, but not more then our nation's current situation or the douche bag Bill O'Reilly.
It's a damn shame that guys like Pat Tillman are in the minority these days and are considered "wackos." If there weren't 15 milion or so guys like Pat Tillman back in the 1940s we'd all be speaking German. America needs to sack up.
And KG rules.
I wish you hippie a-holes would just pack up and get out of this country. You sit in the comfort of your home and make insensitive critical statements about patriots who fight and die for the nation that you call home. If you don't like it here then get the hell out! Go live in France...but just shut the hell up! As someone above said, if we acted as you tree hugging wussies wanted us to we would be speaking German or Japanese. Yes, the same flag that you drag through the mud allows you to speak your mind; no matter how mindless it may be.
you know how you feel right before a race? thats probably how KG felt jackass.
Who's comments are you talking about specifically?

Hmmm, where to start...
There is seldom any reason to take any NBA player serious.
54% is not a vast majority. It is only 3.9999999...% into a simple majority.

Even though it is inappropriate to comment on grammar or spelling--"in appropriate" as you used it is one whurd.
Ya really think God is concerned with how Kevin Garnett's response was viewed?
Have phun out there.
Yes. And you can only take someone "seriously". You can't take someone "serious" any more than you can take them casual, or take them playful, or pensive.
That is why I am The Fixer.

No! He loved his country, and not himself. I can't say the same for you.
I didn't take any offense to it. To me, intent is everything and he clearly was speaking figuratively. Maybe he shouldn't have said it, but it's not a big deal and shouldn't be a big deal to anyone.
True - the Nazis had no plans to invade the USA, or Britain either for that matter. However, I'm not sure that the USA would have felt particularly comfortable facing a Greater German Reich stretching from the Atlantic coast to the Urals.
No! You're wrong. By all acounts Tillman was not a programmed machine, he was an intelligent free thinking human being who made a conscious decision. He fought for the rights that citizens of this country take for granted. In a sense he fought so that unoriginal dumb shits like Rene Gonzalez can plagiarize one-liners from Simeon Rice while giving his opinion in a University newspaper. Are there some soldiers that are programmed killing machines that have no other options in life? I?d like to think not, but maybe there are. However, Pat Tillman can not and should not be described as such. I think he saw in this country what many people fail to see, appreciated what he saw, and laid his life on the line for it.
By the way Garnett apologized for his comments.

Agreed! That's why we need to reinstate the draft!
What is wrong with using a 'war analogy?' Are we saying that we shouldn't talk about war?? Too much fuss about such a little thing, so much ado about nothing. It is sad that we have been programmed to think in a specific way such that whenever someone falls out of that path, KG style, he is vilified and demonised. People have always used football and baseball analogies regarding politics as in home run, 40 yard line e.t.c. e.t.c. Why all the ranting and raving about K.G.?
