"Your school and archdiocese are committed to protecting children and youth," the letter reads. "We urge anyone who has any knowledge of child abuse to come forward, and to report it immediately to civil authorities."
I'm calling BS on that one.

You obviously read the article b/c you mentioned the movie theater but by saying rape instead of kiss, the troll attempt becomes very apparent
too bad your on the second page and know one is going to read this
Isn't a kiss considered to be rape or intercourse?
I'm from Oklahoma.

Oh really? Name a state? Just one?
Here's just one; there are others. North Carolina general statute 14-27.7.b
(b) If a defendant, who is a teacher, school administrator, student teacher, school safety officer, or coach, at any age, or who is other school personnel, and who is at least four years older than the victim engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with a victim who is a student, at any time during or after the time the defendant and victim were present together in the same school, but before the victim ceases to be a student, the defendant is guilty of a Class G felony, except when the defendant is lawfully married to the student. The term "same school" means a school at which the student is enrolled and the defendant is employed, assigned, or volunteers. A defendant who is school personnel, other than a teacher, school administrator, student teacher, school safety officer, or coach, and is less than four years older than the victim and engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with a victim who is a student, is guilty of a Class A1 misdemeanor.
Why does the right wing find being attracted to an 18 year old (17?) female disgusting?
For people who seem to hate gays, this sure seems like an odd attitude. maybe they just hate sex and/or their bodies and/or people?

So the left is OK with Teachers and Coaches boning their students and athletes? (Hint: ALL things are not political.)
Abuse by an authority figure, whether she were 17 or 18, is wrong. Track coaches appear to be high on the list when it comes to taking advantage of young women. We're up there with priests, clowns, boy scout leaders, and karate instructors.
Where do i sign up?
A coach hooking up with a 21 year old is inappropriate. When you tell a person what to do everyday, it's easy to get them to like you
Actually I know a track coach that was boning one of his students/athletes. She was a senior, was built like 22 yr old, he was fairly young, mid 20's I guess. She graduated and he either quit or was fired(not sure which) but they got married and had 3 kids.
They're still married to this day, and that was over 20 yrs ago.
This entire post is a joke. The girl knew he was married and if she had strong morals wouldn't have messed with a married man???? She is a kid and he is the authority figure. End of story. The coach is the adult, the married one, and had authority over the young girl. I have absolutely ZERO sympathy for him.
If you aren't adult and mature enough to coach and avoid the "temptation" of young girls without having sex with them, don't coach. Simple as that.
Your entire post tries to excuse the coach's behavior and shift it toward the girls and the way they dress, flirt, "posture themselves". Again if you can't control yourself enough to be around teenage girls, don't coach them.

This is not true. I have no idea where you pulled this, but it does not apply to all teachers.
You are crazy.

Women never do this.... ever
This stuff always brings out the moral high horsers, however, the fact that he tried to carry out a "relationship", to me, gives it a higher level of creepiness and lack of judgment.
We have one in our area too. And he is apparently on the lam......

Yes. I can understand a man wanting to bang a 17 or 18 yr old, I cant understand wanting to "date" them.

You're pretty lazy; aren't you?
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=North+Carolina+general+statute+14-27.7.bAlthough, I admit, living in a fantasy world where I can run around denying facts just for the hell of it sounds like it could be entertaining. How's it working out for you?
This is equivalent to saying: that while rape is wrong and cannot be condoned, with the way she was dressed she was asking for it.
