The touch bezel can get wonky if you're the kind of person who sweats when he runs. Mine also died after a year or two.
The 3XX is bigger and uglier, but seems more durable and cheaper.
It's not a bad GPS. I've had mine for 2 years now and the only problem I've had with it is that the band broke. Otherwise, lock the bezel when you are running so sweat doesn't make it go crazy and it's not bad. Other watches can be bought for cheaper though...

His battery wouldn't hold a charge. He's back to one of the 300 series watches.
