Therefore in a few years Rupp will win gold at a WC.
QED.

Rupp will get no medals in his lifetime. He may get a finishers medal if he moves up to the marathon and runs Boston, but thats it.

please explain why Rupp will medal

OK, we already knew that he could probably run close to 13 flat this year. Merga is not finishing races as well as last year. Alamirew is either in a bit of a slump or he is unproven at 5000. Rupp was outkicked by Farah, which always seems to happen. The rest of Rupp's scalps are hardly worth mentioning, and as noted, the notable scalps appear to be losing their hair (meaning they're not at full strength). Rupp's race was very good, but it doesn't really mean anything as far as enhancing his medaling prospects.
Rupp has something to prove to YOU?

With all the arrogant annoying fanboys talking about how he is the greatest ever Rupp has everything to prove to everybody

OK. So I have my answer. You are dumb.
Here is the sequence of notes prior to the above:

You somehow failed to see what would be obvious to anyone of average intelligence.
Scalps:
10k:
Bekele - obviously not fit, but according to hermens no way he could live with the pace...scalped
Sileshi Sihine: 7:27,12:47,26:39, many-time global medalist
Paul Tanui: 26:50,2011 world xc silver medal, kenyan xc champ
He beat runners from both Kenya and Ethiopia - he is among the best either nation can produce.
Galen Rupp has nothing to be ashamed of. He is simply not talented enough to win a medal in a WC or Olympic event. Salazar even implies that Mo Farah is way more talented than Galen Rupp:
“I tell him, ‘Wait till I have you doing the stuff that Galen’s doing next year and then what happened in the 10k will never happen again’.”
Salazar obviously believes that Farah has more room to improve his speed than Rupp does. Rupp is good for a runner from the U.S. but on the world stage he is not a real contender to medal. Plus, he is at his peak. I am proud of Galen for making the most of his talent.
All Alberto was saying is that Mo's top-end speed has not yet been fully realized. I don't understand how you infer that while a 28 year old British athlete has room to improve, a 25 year old American one does not.
You dismiss Galen as not being talented enough to win a major championship medal even though he was in the hunt in the last two laps of both races. Obviously, as a predictor of things not yet come to pass, you are the Word when it comes to running.

Please direct me to one post where someone claims that Rupp is the greatest ever. I would be willing to bet money that such a statement has literally never been made (other than possibly in a sarcastic manner).

Rupp has now run 5 seconds faster at 5000 than his coach did 29 years ago. Rupp has gone from 13:37 in 2004 to 13:06 today. This is a nice steady improvement. Rupp is likely in close to 13 flat shape. Rupp is much closer to his ceiling than the fanboys suspect. They never suspected it with Alan Webb in 2007 either. Rupp will likely never run much better than he is running in 2011. This is the way it is, and the morons will accuse me of being a hater.
Almost 3 years later and Jesse looks as if he had a crystal ball.

Crystal ball.
Seriously though, this is a refreshing bump.

Well, this was amusing to read in retrospect.
I doubt Rupp will get much faster than 12:58 or 26:48. He should improve in the half marathon. Sub 26:48 requires a really good field to race against on top of a great day - it's possible. I could see him getting a 12:55-6 on a great day. But, since 2011, Rupp pR'd in the mile, 3000 and 2 mile and became much more competitive in championship 10000s. So lately something has changed and it ain't hard to define - Galen got himself some speed.

Ummm, no. Rupp learn to sit and kick. His competitors are on to his game. They can play it better than Rupp.
Rupp will soon flip over to age 28. His speed will decline, as it has for nearly every other runner. Rupp's racing strategy needs to change for him to remain competitive, but I don't see him becoming as smart of a racer as someone like Farah.

Rupp has now run 1.1 seconds faster than the 13 flat shape Jesse said he was likely in 3 years ago. I'd call that a crystal ball.

You think continuing to lose to Lagat is much better than 2011?
