Pollen that are allergans can induce an asthma attack, and if untreated, it can take a few days to get your breathing back to normal. That's my guess about Salazar's comment, although many elite athletes are able to cope with allergies and asthma with WDA-approved medications.http://asthma.about.com/od/asthmaallergyconnection/a/summerasthma.htm

It's over for Rupp. Pollen count in London normally is high too.
Why not try as a NBC Broadcaster? he could do better than Carol Lewis.
No chance of suffering from allergies in Stratford, unless you're allergic to inner-city s-holes.
Asthma is no laughing matter, I can assure you. It can also lead to bronchitis. Ask Seb Coe why he missed the 1988 Olympics.

I marvel at the smoking mirrors and voodoo deceit. Rupp competed in Oregon as a prep, competed extensively as a collegiate...until recently "Pollen" has never been an issue.
Then you haven't been paying attention, Rupp was going to run his 10k record attempt in Oregon in 2010 but the pollen didn't allow which is why he ended up running at Standford.

what does the pollen count have to be for rupp to scratch, i heard it was 175 at the preclassic when rupp pulled out of that race and salazar said if pollen levels are that high he will never let rupp run.
Salazar has said all along that Rupp will run Nationals no matter what the pollen count is.
How come Canova never talks about pollen count? Mosop had no trouble

Actually, he doesn't read this site.
He lives in a different world than you.
He has like friends, and a life, and a profession, and a wife, and a great family.
You wish you could say the same.
Wow, you really got us good...lol!
Pollen count EXPLODING!
I'm betting that we'll get to see Ally Sally rushes the finish area to administer oxygen to Rupp after the race...
