He was unhappy with his 29-low pb. He did run some good races and beat some better than 29-low athletes.
His brother who did the illustrations for the book also ran fairly well. You can read about the escapades at Flotrack, where I have interviewed them in satire and seriously 8 times. Keith and Colin are both quite funny.

8.06, 14.04, 29.19 on the track. 44.37 for 15k on the roads. I think he also had a 3.50 for 1500.
