Sammy Wanjiru's Mom Claims He Was Murdered

She wasn't there

It's Africa. Anything anyone says is biased by their own agenda. His mum, wife, girlfriends, and especially the police all have a game to play. I doubt the truth will ever come out.

Ultimately it's just another guy who died, if he wasn't a great runner he wouldn't be on our radar.

According to this, she didn't lock him in the bedroom.

"There was an exchange of words between the couple and Njeri stormed out of the bedroom, locking the metallic grille on the staircase that leads up to the upper floor.

“Wanjiru could not go out through the stairway. He opted to jump from the upper floor’s balcony but hit the concrete floor,” said the police chief."

It should be long before someone posts;

"Why would Sammy have a lockable metallic grille leading up to the second floor? This makes no sense whatsoever. The police chief is hiding something."

I never was a big fan of wanjiru! but i know that he had the talent to be the next world record holder in the marathon. I never liked to much his way of living but!!!! nobody deserve that kind of treatment and black mail of his relatives!. I feel that he was MURDERED!! maybe by his wife with the help of another person. RIP SAMMY WE NEVER FORGET YOU,MAYBE NOW I WILL BE YOUR FAN!

Can you imagine getting a handy from that girl? Ugh, that'd be weird. You wonder Sammy was getting his kicks elsewhere.

To protect yourself from burglars while you are asleep - it is common to separate your sleeping area from the rest of the hose so if someone breaks in they can steal your stuff tv - hifi etc.. but not get to you

This message board is getting increasingly disgusting. Lets not forget that Sammy allegedly threatened this woman with a gun several months back. Now we make fun of her for having a physical deformity? And the anonymous caller wants to call the other women/wives whores?

I know we'll probably never know the truth, given that money, fame, and corruption are involved. But it's important to not forget that Sammy seemed to have made some bad decisions in the last several months. The whole gun incident, flipping his car, and now this incident. Maybe it was murder, maybe the real details are being obscured by terrible corruption. But maybe we just have trouble acknowledging that a world class athlete maybe had too much to drink and stumbled while scaling the balcony. Sammy seemed larger than life. He defied the limitations that many human bodies pose. But in the end, he was a human being with a breakable body.

Again, I don't want to say he was a bad guy or that he deserved this. Like most people, he probably had good aspects to his personality and bad. This is an opportunity (unfortunate as it is) to reflect on issues of fame, money, and power. If Sammy was still alive and winning marathons, would we let him off the hook for domestic abuse? Would most people care (or even notice) if his family and community were exploiting him? Would the pleasure of watching a champion at work be worth the abuse and exploitation that accompanied his making?

Ummm... Looks like a good possibility the cameras in his home were deactivated the time of his death. It just keeps pointing more and more towards murder.

From what I can concluded from all this Wanjiru Saga, the mother is the one who created all this trouble in the first place!

Wanjiru got married to Triza even before he got all the wealth. Once money started coming in, the mother jealousy against her daughter in law grew like wise.

She is the one who misadvised her son to Marry her neighbor Ms Wacera who was a former International athlete since she is in good terms with her than Triza. Such advise as innocent as it might look, it made Sammy feel that he has the right to meet who ever money can buy.

As a mother, Hanna could have discouraged such unstable relations and help Sammy build a stable relation with Triza.

Her true colors came out clearly when she publicly denounced Triza as a legitimate wife after her son's death. This shows how greedy and jelous this woman is.

She only wanted to control Wanjiru's wealth totally, and she could only do that if Triza was out of the way!

I think many of you are missing the point. Yes, it seems he had some real relationship problems between himself, his mother, and all these women. Which could be related to one, a few, or all of them having horrible moral character.

However, does that condone MURDER! Because it is obvious that foul play was involved in this situation and truth and justice should be the focus.

Wealth, jealousy, a bad marriage are all trivial compared to whether this man was murdered.

There is no proof that he was murdered. Lots of bad things going on all around but in the end the simplest explanation is that he was drunk and slipped off a balcony/roof.

And there is no proof that it wasn't.

But Triza is not out of the way. Sammy is out of the way.
