So who is truly interested in watching these 6 straight 10,000m Races?
Honestly, does this interest you?

Having a good friend or favourite pro in each race would be the only way I'd watch all of them.
I would watch the Oly Dev and the Elite Invite Men's for sure.
is anyone able to view the live feed?

were they not fast enough to run the 5000. ten k is a terrible race.
whos the kid from southern indiana with had prs of 4:24 8:24 14:11 and 29:49 that just went 28:41 for 10k. His second fast 5k ever is slower that than the pace he ran back to back tonight.

That happened to me last track season. I raced 1 10000m race and 4 5000m races. Only one of those 5000m races was faster than my closing 5000m in the 10000m race. It helps to be in a super competitive (relative to you) race and getting pulled along rather than being out front leading a 5000m race by yourself.
I would watch 20 10ks if I could. I love watching races.

I want to hear these comments.
Because "Old School" says, "Since it is not scored, no one will care about it".
"New School" says, "Let's see how fast they run".
I was there for all of them, had athletes in two of them, acquaintances in several more, and personally love the 10k.
I've got to admit, this got boring, even to me. Some cool things happened, but time trial races are hard to get into when you don't care whether the group of women you don't know run 34:49 or 35:07. If it was just one woman's 10k, I'd watch it and love it. But that was a looooot of 10ks in a row.
That said, I love Mt SAC, and I'm really glad they have 6-8 10k heats. It's one of the three real 10k meets and to be an athlete in one of those 10ks is beyond wonderful. And I think it's great that they clump the most spectator friendly races together in the mid to late evening. Wouldn't change a thing.
I mean we watch marathons right?
