The upper is the only similarity, the Victory is a miler shoe which is lower profile, The Matumbo is softer for longer races

Your knowledge is a bit off. The spike plate and midsole are identical. The only difference is the upper. Unless you're referring to the Original Ventulus, not the Ventulus 2, in which case you would be correct.
